At Infranode, we are proud to partner with Renegas, a leading biogas developer and operator, to invest in the Phoenix Biogas Portfolio. This portfolio consists of two state-of-the-art biogas plants: Thorsø and Foersom, which together produce around 160 GWh of renewable biogas annually. With our investment, we aim to double this capacity by 2026 and explore further opportunities for expansion and innovation.

The Phoenix Biogas Portfolio is not only a source of clean energy, but also a solution for reducing the environmental impact of agriculture and food production. By converting manure and other organic waste into biogas, the plants prevent the release of methane and other greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. Moreover, the plants have the potential to produce advanced biofuels for aviation and shipping, using cutting-edge technologies and green contracts with end customers. Foersom is already the first Danish biogas plant to operate without any state subsidies.
